We’re elevating wellness through culture at A Culture of Wellness: Because I Deserve It! in partnership with tech companies, healthy food vendors, and local organizations. The event will connect community to health and wellness resources through COVID and flu vaccines, clinical trials, movement/meditation sessions, healthy food demonstrations, performances, giveaways, and more.

A Culture of Wellness: Because I Deserve It! is grounded in the pursuit of healthy lifestyles through what New Orleanians already live and breathe: culture. The event will feature a live performance and secondline led by Andrews Brass Band, sounds by DJ Juane Jordan, a healthy food demonstration by Original Thought and something for everyone of all ages: face painting, photo booth, prizes and giveaways, art therapy by Whole Village, and a drumming performance by Kuumba Academy.

Presented by Ashé Cultural Arts Center in partnership with: New Orleans East Hospital, Metropolitan Human Services District, New Orleans Public Library, Crescent Care/No Wrap No Tap, Dress for Success, BACH Therapeutic Counseling Services, NOLA Ready, FitNOLA, EXCELth, and Whole Village.
