About Kristi Coleman

Graduating at the top of the school of Mass Communications from Dillard University in 2011, Kristi Coleman began her career as an intern for the Orleans Parish School Board and has worked her way up to a Media Technician where she still holds the position. While in college, Kristi secured her own radio show for Power 102.9, and has experience in radio for over 5 years. In 2012, she joined the FOX 8 team as a Production Assistant/Booking Coordinator. At one point, while working three jobs in the field, 7 days a week, Kristi found time to receive a Post Baccalaureate Certificate from Tulane University in Digital Design. In present day, Kristi now serves as the daily Traffic Reporter and MMJ for Fox 8's Morning Edition. With her radio experience, Kristi continues her love for music serving under her DJ name “Sugarcookie”. The New Orleans native loves to inspire young women and encourage them to wear many hats because she believes there are no limits to what they can achieve.
