Hosted in New Orleans, the Imagining America National Gathering will include roundtable discussions, workshops, media sessions, and even art-making addressing this year's theme of Rituals of Repair and Renewal. Friday begins with honoring IA Friend Carol Bebelle with her presentation on her transformative work at Ashé Cultural Arts Center. This plenary will present the Cultural Continuum that emerged from the effort and influenced the activity of Ashé, now in its second generation of leadership as it approaches its 25th Anniversary.

The National Gathering will feature sessions ranging from racial injustices, design, storytelling, history, university-community partnerships, and health inequities in the name of cultural thriving. IA is excited to see everyone gather to engage in meaningful conversations and relate to each other!
