Join us for this month’s Reel Talk film screening, Africans on the Mississippi: Cuttin’ Cane directed by CFreedom. Cuttin’ Cane is an award-winning short film about Donaldsonville, Louisiana. Donaldsonville is one of the numerous communities created by the plantation system which flourished along the Mississippi River.
