Upon the 18th anniversary of the storm, Katrina Babies uniquely centers the voices of the youth of New Orleans, whose traumas went unaddressed in its aftermath. New Orleans native, Director Edward Buckles Jr., raises his camera to elevate the voices of his city; utilizing confessional-style footage, home movies, animation, harrowing archival footage, and candid interviews with Katrina survivors.
