Join us for the virtual opening of the National Conference of Artists’ 25th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Art Exhibit Saturday, January 15 at 5pm CT. The exhibition commemorates and celebrates the life of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his work in the Civil Rights Movement. It also pays homage to the people who continue to work tirelessly to further peace, collective understanding, nonviolence to build beloved communities.
As the central theme for this year’s exhibition, artists have been asked to explore A Gift of Love: Sermons From "Strength To Love" and Other Preachings by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Tune in for a powerful display of original works from artists across the city who have devoted their artistic creativity to inspire and uplift.
The virtual opening is free and open to the public and will be streamed live on Facebook and Youtube.
