Join us in setting our intention for the new year at the 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - Cesar Chavez Call To Action Friday, January 14 at 12pm.
Our virtual Call to Action is named for two cultural giants who led non-violent, peace-centered movements for civil rights. We’ll evoke the revolutionary spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Cesar Chavez through the wisdom of keynote speakers, the artistic offering of performers, and collective community-building.
Our 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. - Cesar Chavez Call To Action keynote speakers are:
Jasmine Araujo — Organizer, advocate for the unhoused, and co-founder of Southern Solidarity
Carlton Turner — Performing artist, organizer, policy shaper, and co-founder of the Mississippi Center for Cultural Production (Sipp Culture)
Performances by Sunni Patterson and free feral.
