The Haus of Alexander began in the 90s by Asia Alexander during a time when drag families became very important. They were created to provide a sense of family when queer children felt alone. Jayda Alexander was Asia’s daughter and brought in the 2nd generation of Haus of Alexander. Jayda is the mother to Yaisha Bubbles Alexander who is the current matriarch and a part of the 3rd generation of Haus of Alexander. Post-Katrina, Bubbles chose to have a number of kids in order to sustain the Drag community in New Orleans. This show is another important piece of the Alexander legacy. You do not want to miss this historic event.
