Join us for a free film screening of the new PBS digital series holding bodies: a justice anthology, followed by a Town Hall-style conversation with filmmakers, film participants, community members, and justice innovators to collectively imagine the future of a human-centered justice system and the power of storytelling to guide us there.
This interactive community event hosted at Ashé Cultural Arts Center will ask audiences to explore these critical questions:
What does justice look like in the state of Louisiana?
How can we improve the lives of those who have been disproportionately impacted by the system, and how do we integrate impacted voices into making lasting change?
