The 26th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Art Exhibition Who Speaks For the People opens Saturday, January 14th at Ashé Cultural Arts Center and The Building—both on Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard!

Presented by the National Conference of Artists, in partnership with Ashé Cultural Arts Center and The Building, this annual exhibition features work from artists celebrating the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., the Civil Rights Movement, and the continued fight for justice and peace.

Join us at Ashé on Saturday, January 14th from 5-8:30pm for the opening reception where you can be among the first to experience this year's collection of inspiring art, meet some of the artists, and witness a panel discussion on the intersection of art and activism featuring New Orleans Chapter of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference Reverend Dr. Levon Leban and New Orleans NAACP President Ronald Coleman.

The opening is free and open to the public.
