Sistahs Making a Change and Root Wisdom Collective are hosting "Solstice for the Soul" an evening of healing with Families and Friends of Louisiana's Incarcerated Children (FFLIC). The evening will focus on healing intergenerational trauma and provided self-care tools to handle daily environmental stressors, especially those created by systems of institutional violence. Members of the Root Wisdom Collective, a collective of BIPOC womyn practicing community healing, will lead a guided meditation and singing/song-writing experience, and offer self-care practices.

The first 30 attendees will receive a gift bag. FFLIC/BGR/HOOP members who attend will receive a $50 wellness stipend. June 21st 6-8 p.m.

Classes will be held in-person and virtually Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
